Teal and Green Eyeshadow Tutorial
Hello you beautiful humans!
A few of you expressed an interest in this look below, being done as a walk through tutorial! That's awesome, I'm so excited. Or I was until the camera wouldn't play ball. So, I hate to let people down, I've screen grabbed what I can and I'll explain in written form!
So, you want this ^ ? Okay, awesome.
Some basics before we get started.
I don't use any primers! You can if you choose to but, personally, I don't.
I use Smash Box studio skin hydrating foundation in shade 1.0 (Yes I'm fucking white and pasty, leave me alone =p )
I use benefit cheek parade to create a contour and Barry M strobe cream for my highlight.
If you can't see your cheek bones easily, and you're not sure how or where to contour, let me know and I'll upload that as a tutorial next week!
To create this look I use Urban Decays Electric Shadow Pallet (Man is it beautiful, just everything about it)
So lets get started:
So I start by applying fringe all over my lid, and just above too!
Making sure the coverage is nice and even
I then apply the same colour (fringe) under my eyes, just below the water line of the inner eye socket.
I then clean my brush on a paper towel and use freak.
I apply this in a > shape. So outer corner, closest to your ear, and blend in towards your nose. I stop around one third - half of the way into the lid.
Then get a super fluffy brush and smoosh it make sure it's nicely blended, be careful not to blend too far, you will end up with a mess!
Then generally, I get attacked by Jaxx. Who wonders what the hell I'm doing, and wants to join in. He's currently laying over my make up box as if to say - no mummy no make up. Nope.
I then apply eyeliner, and mascara as usual. If you'd like a tutorial on how I do my eyeliner, and what products I use, feel free to let me know!
I hope this has helped! :)
All my love,
Lexy xox
