Over whelmed and under...paid? 🤔

Hey guys,

Phew I can't believe it has been a month since I posted about Italy, man I'm so sorry I've not been around. I've been really poorly and we aren't quiet sure why'.

When I got back from Italy I expected some "pay back" for borrowing future spoons. But I didn't expect this. I'm managing to get out of the house maybe once in a week, and only for a few hours before I have to crawl back into bed. I feel exhausted and shaky like I'm moving through a vat of porridge, not fun! 

In addition to this, I've been having some breathing issues. Laying sitting standing it didn't seem to matter, I had a wheeze. I tried to work out what was causing it and eventually I settled on the vape juice I was using, so I changed it and it's getting a little better. Problem is I don't know what ingredients set it off, so I can't avoid it. It seems to be the whole brand though not just one of their juices.

I got an appointment for my ankles (which were agony last night) so that'll be next week. I then have my allergy appointment the week after that, so hopefully we will get some answers. I also bought a bed rail for solo transfers (see below) 


And I'm waiting for my blanket cradle to arrive on Monday to take some of the weight off my legs.

In spite of all the boredom and tears for not being able to get up and go, Jaxx has been a source of both comfort and entertainment 


I am genuinely so blessed to have him.

So, the next thing I think I'll talk about is your environment when you're feeling run down. Now, it's really important to have your safe space, your place to go, when you're feeling rough. For me it's my bedroom, because I don't have the whole house to make my own but it can be wherever you want. But make sure it's comfortable and you feel happy in the room. My bedroom was feeling about as run down as I am, sonny mother decided to redecorate...I'm paying for furniture and accessories she's got the paint and the flooring and between the three of us we are going to be making my room pink and grey! I'm excited but also don't have the energy.

It's a big world out there!

Hey all! It's a big world out there, don't you know? I decided to mix things up a little, following on from my post on Spoonie Central Beauty blog, I had to change. We all do eventually, and this blog is a testament to my change. People can change in all kinds of ways, when I was with my ex I lost so much of myself. I'm slowly regaining that, and I find that I want to write more, to inspire more, and on a broader range of topics in conjunction with Chronic Illness (and my obsession with cucpakes and pink of course!). It's funny, because I used to be terrified of change; I cried when my parents moved the sofas! But now? Flare ups

Hello darlings, As some of you may have noticed, I hadn't posted in a while. I've been having a seriously rough go of it, no idea why until yesterday. I have direly low Iron, Folate and Vitamin D. No wonder I was feeling so rough. But as I was laying in bed, trying to rest and feeling nothing but restless, it felt like this was never ending. My new normal, and I started to get depressed. Let me tell you something, nothing was brining me joy at this point. But I involved myself in activity after activity trying to find something to bring me out of it. It was possibly the best thing I could have done, because at my lowest I - ~ Agreed to be the east herts representative for EDSUK.
